What is the process of getting a recommendation like?

Many people are nervous abut what a visit to a "medical marijuana doctor" will be like. There's absolutely no need to be nervous at all. You will be surprised by how simple the whole process really is.

  a. When you come in for your appointment at our safe convenient location, you will fill out a questionnaire about your medical condition and the treatments that you've received for these conditions. This is to acquaint the doctor with your condition and give you information about medical cannabis.

  b. You will give your California driver's license to the receptionist who will make a copy. If you don't have a CA drivers license, a photo ID in addition to proof of  a California address will do. You'll then wait about until you are called in to see the doctor.

  c. The medical staff will then see you and discuss with you the medical condition for which you are seeking relief via medical marijuana, and the treatments you may have received for your condition. The doctor will determine your eligibility for use of medical marijuana to treat your condition. The doctor will also discuss with you how marijuana works to help with your situation, and answer any question you may have.

 d. Generally you are in and out in less than 30 minutes. Unlike many clinics that require you to pay a fee up front, if our doctor decides that you are not eligible for a medical marijuana recommendation, you are not charged a cent! We also offer laminated ID Cards. We emboss your recommendation to make it official, you pay, and that's it. It's that simple!

The letter of recommendation allows you to purchase medicine from private dispensaries, allows you to legally possess, transport, and cultivate marijuana up to the allowable state and county limits.  Additionally, the clinic provides 24 hour patient verification through Green Life so law enforcement and dispensaries can confirm you are in fact a medical cannabis patient in good standing.
